Great British Bake Off fans could own a piece of British TV history for a cool £6.75million.

Harptree Court, a Georgian stately home in Somerset, was the location of the iconic Bake Off tent for the 2012 and 2013 series on the BBC, before the move to Channel 4.

Now, estate agents Knight Frank have put the house on the market for a staggering price.

The luxury property, which boasts 12 bedrooms and nine bathrooms, was designed by surveyor and architect Charles Harcout Masters and built for Joshua Scrope in 1797.

The Grade II-listed is sat on 51 acres of land with gardens and laws designed around the same period, housing a Victorian stable yard and even The Treehouse which is ‘currently let out for holiday stays’.

‘Accessible via a pathway flanked by attractive estate fencing, it includes a large [veranda], a king-size bed, a glorious copper bath, a shower, WC, and a kitchen/sitting/dining area with a wood-burning stove, dishwasher, small cooker, gas hob, and fridge.’

Sadly, the Bake Off tent is long gone, but there is a unique outdoor copper bath for those hot summer months.
