href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/celebrity-big-brother\/\">Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> presenter has admited <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/mickey-rourke\/\">Mickey Rourke<\/a> had housemates feeling ‘scared and vulnerable’ with him in the house. <\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/itv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITV<\/a>’s <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/this-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This Morning<\/a> on Monday for the gossip segment about the reality show, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/will-best\/\">Will Best <\/a>shared his take on the shocking events of the weekend, which resulted in <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2020\/01\/18\/john-cena-feared-tarnishing-wwe-legacy-like-mickey-rourkes-character-in-the-wrestler-12077284\/\">The Wrestler<\/a> actor’s departure. <\/p>\n<p>Confessing that he doesn’t think the star, 72, is an ‘evil man’, he said, unfortunately, his unacceptable behaviour did leave the housemates feeling both ‘scared and vulnerable’. <\/p>\n<p>Recapping why this was a common feeling amongst the housemates, the presenter said Rourke caused upset from the get-go, especially after using ‘unacceptable language and behaviour’ towards former Dance Moms star\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/jojo-siwa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JoJo Siwa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Best, 40, said following ‘further use of inappropriate language’ and ‘instances of unacceptable behaviour’, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/14\/mickey-rourke-say-ella-rae-wise-celebrity-big-brother-axe-22904384\/\">including using certain language towards The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise<\/a>, and ‘language and behaviour’ that <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/13\/mickey-rourkes-threatening-comments-revealed-removal-celebrity-big-brother-house-22901876\/\">‘was threatening and aggressive’<\/a> towards <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/love-island\/\">Love Island<\/a> star Chris Hughes, Rourke and Big Brother agreed it was time for him to leave.<\/p>\n<p>While Best was cautious with his words, he told hosts <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/dermot-oleary\/\">Dermot O’Leary<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/alison-hammond\/\">Alison Hammond<\/a> that the actor’s exit was not ‘something entirely unexpected, just because it\u2019s an extreme environment’. <\/p>\n<figure types of behaviour,’ there is always a danger’, but believes he isn’t an ‘evil man’. <\/p>\n<p>One thing that did surprise the presenter, however, is how quickly Rourke crossed the line again. <\/p>\n<p>Recalling the instance on Saturday night when Rourke and Hughes were dressed as pirates during a task, he discussed the actor’s<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/video\/intense-moment-mickey-rourke-starts-chris-hughes-looking-funny-cbb-3414111\/\"> ‘threatening’ behaviour, which was ‘totally out of proportion’. <\/a><\/p>\n<div but it made the rest of the house feel vulnerable, a bit scared,’ Best said. <\/p>\n<p>He added that ‘sadly’ the same day he made ‘totally inappropriate’ remarks to Wise that ‘made her feel understandably vulnerable, and that is the point where you\u2019ve got to go.’ <\/p>\n<p>Maintaining his diplomatic approach in his summary of the events, Best told hosts that he ‘felt a bit sorry’ had taken things too far. <\/p>\n<p>‘I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing,’ he said. ‘Because I lost my temper, and I\u2019ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I\u2019m very sorry.<\/p>\n<p>‘I\u2019m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt.<\/p>\n<p>‘Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I\u2019m sorry about that.’ <\/p>\n<p>It follows news that the star will <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/13\/celebrity-big-brothers-mickey-rourkes-500-000-consequence-axed-show-22899728\/\">miss out on his rumoured \u00a3500,000 fee for his behaviour.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s claimed he will receive some compensation for his time and appearance on the hit show, it\u2019s likely to be much less than what he originally agreed
