community, fans say.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/07\/4-episodes-gripping-thriller-adolescence-creators-finally-available-stream-today-22863183\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/07\/4-episodes-gripping-thriller-adolescence-creators-finally-available-stream-today-22863183\/\">four-part revenge thriller<\/a>, from the producers behind <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/adolescence-tv-show\/\">Adolescence<\/a>, follows newly-released murder convict Daniel Brennan (Matthew Gurney).<\/p>\n<p>Daniel is a deaf man who has been shunned by his community and spent a decade isolated in prison. That should finish now.<\/p>\n<p>‘And all the people that say, \u201cOh, well, that\u2019s the whole point of acting.\u201d Okay. I don\u2019t get to act like a hearing person. Do I ever get a cast as the hearing person?
