Brad Pitt<\/a>\u2019s production company is in talks to create a second season<\/a> of Adolescence<\/a> following its massive success.<\/p>\n

Last month the British drama<\/a>, which starred Stephen Graham<\/a> as Eddie Miller and Owen Cooper<\/a> as his son Jamie Miller who is accused of the shocking murder of a female schoolmate, hit screens.<\/p>\n

It quickly became one of the most watched programmes on Netflix around the world<\/a>, smashing viewing records.<\/p>\n

Although the series was created with the intention to be a limited series, there\u2019s been speculation it could be extended due to the massive response.<\/p>\n

The production company behind Adolescence was Plan B<\/a>, which was founded in 2001 by Brad, Brad Grey, Kristin Hahn and Jennifer Aniston. The actor is now the sole owner of the company, which has been behind acclaimed movies and shows including 12 Years a Slave, Moonlight, The Underground Railroad and 3 Body Problem.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s now been reported that Plan B Entertainment is looking to develop the show further.<\/p>\n

Plan B co-presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner told Deadline<\/a> they were speaking to director Philip Barantini about the \u2018next iteration\u2019 of the show.<\/p>\n

Gardner said they were thinking about how they can \u2018widen the aperture, stay true to its DNA, [and] not be repetitive\u2019, but did not want to reveal much more about their plans.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Kleiner added that they hoped Graham and Jack Thorne, the writer behind Adolescence, could team up again on the project.<\/p>\n

The pair also explained how Plan B helped get the ball rolling on developing Adolescence after watching Barantini\u2019s one-shot film Boiling Point, which followed a chef (played by Graham) as he faced a personal and professional meltdown.<\/p>\n

The company were keen to try a similar format in a series, with Pitt also being a \u2018massive fan\u2019 of Graham\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Their comments come after Graham was asked about the potential for a second season to be made, with the actor telling Variety: \u2018Possibly, let\u2019s see how the figures are. But yeah, there\u2019s the possibility of developing another story.\u2019<\/p>\n

Last month Barantini revealed how Pitt was \u2018remarkably hands on\u2019 with the project.<\/p>\n

\u2018He gave feedback, shared ideas, and was so engaged throughout the process,\u2019 he said on The Rest is Entertainment podcast.<\/p>\n

\u2018He couldn\u2019t visit the shoot because of his F1 project, but having someone like Brad Pitt involved \u2014 and so invested \u2014 was incredible. And he\u2019s, yeah, I mean, I\u2019d love to work with him again.\u2019<\/p>\n

Shot in one take, the show also features Ashley Walters as DI Luke Bascombe, Christine Tremarco as Manda Miller and Erin Doherty as Briony Ariston.<\/p>\n

teacher<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0who told us Adolescence just scratches the surface when it comes to the reality of what\u2019s happening among young boys and their concerning behaviour toward girls.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I think it misses the scale of misogynistic abuse and violence that happens in our schools every day,\u2019 *Emma said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Young women are reporting it and not enough is being done to prevent girls at school being harassed and abused by their classmates.<\/p>\n<p>‘Also it misses the scale of violence in our society, not even just against women, but young men committing acts of violence because of their these belief systems and because they are feeling so angry at the world.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Adolescence is streaming on
