Noel Fielding<\/a>\u2019s career has seen him jump between comedy<\/a> and working on one of the most comforting shows on TV, the Great British Bake Off.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 51-year-old <\/a>started his career in the public eye performing stand up comedy in the late 1990s, during which time he met Mighty Boosh collaborator Julian Barratt.<\/a><\/p>\n

Their idea became a radio<\/a> show in 2001, before going to be commissioned as a TV series and then a stage show.<\/p>\n

During the 2000s, Noel also appeared in shows including Nathan Barley, The IT Crowd, AD\/BC: A Rock Opera, and Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also been a guest on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Richard Ayoade\u2019s Travel Man series.<\/p>\n

In 2017, Noel bagged his biggest presenting role to date – The Great British Bake Off<\/a> – which he currently fronts <\/a>alongside This Morning star Alison Hammond. There is also currently a series of Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer specials airing.<\/p>\n

However earlier this year it was announced that his show \u2013 The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin \u2013 in which he stars had been halted in the middle of season 2.<\/p>\n

At the time it was announced production had stopped due to an issue <\/a>regarding Noel\u2019s \u2018health\u2019, while a source claimed that he said that he \u2018can\u2019t film anymore\u2019.<\/p>\n

But away from the screens what do we know about Noel<\/a>, whose partner is radio DJ Lliana Bird<\/a>, with whom he shares two children.<\/p>\n

Noel was previously in a relationship with Robots in Disguise lead vocalist Dee Plume, who made minor appearances in The Mighty Boosh and in its live adaptations.<\/p>\n

In 2010 he then began dating radio DJ Lliana Bird, who previously hosted a weekly show with Radio X.<\/p>\n

She is also an author who has released the book The Mice Who Sing For Sex \u2013 a non-fiction book on all things bizarre and wonderful from the world of science \u2013 and the children\u2019s book Baboo The Unusual Bee.<\/p>\n

Liliana, 42, also has her own production company called Bird & Be and is the co-founder of the charities Choose Love and The Kindly Collective, which funds and supports grassroots charitable projects for women, kids and animals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple reportedly met after she appeared in several episodes of The Mighty Boosh in 2010 and later had a brief cameo in Noel\u2019s series Luxury Comedy as \u2018Lady in car\u2019 in 2014.<\/p>\n

The couple are not married, but in 2018 announced they were expecting their first child together.<\/p>\n

The couple have two daughters together; Dali \u2013 who was born in April 2018 and named after Noel\u2019s favourite artist Salvador Dali and Iggy, who was born in August 2020.<\/p>\n

Although they keep their children out of the public eye and off social media, Lliana does sometimes share photos of her eldest daughter\u2019s artworks online.<\/p>\n

Last year she also shared an insight into their home life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reminiscing about the births of her children and becoming a parent, Lliana spoke about how \u2018magical\u2019 a father Noel had become since welcoming their daughters.<\/p>\n

\u2018He kind of makes the silliest little moments, he makes having breakfast a real moment,\u2019 she said on the Happy Mum Happy Baby with Giovanna Fletcher<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think I\u2019ve just really leaned into that and just going like, \u201cThis is amazing. We\u2019re getting to have porridge and it\u2019s funny, and it\u2019s fun. And we\u2019re wearing silly hats, and we\u2019re dancing. And that\u2019s okay.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n

\u2018Maybe someone else\u2019s kids are going to have a few more spoonfuls of porridge because it\u2019s going to be quicker, they\u2019re eating it properly, and digesting it properly. But, you know, my kids are having a lot of fun.\u2019<\/p>\n

Where does Noel Fielding live?<\/h2>\n

Noel Fielding lives with his family in North London home, with their home nestled in a residential area on the corner of Hampstead Heath.<\/p>\n

Although he’s rarely shared images of his house online, he’s offered fans glimpses over the years, including of his back garden after he once mowed the lawn.<\/p>\n

Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer continues on Sunday at 7.40pm on Channel 4.<\/em><\/p>\n
